Cortez Espinoza '20

I just want to recognize Cortez Espinoza of the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ graduating Class of 2020. I’ve had the honor of teaching and mentoring Cortez for the past three years. He has taken full advantage of the opportunities that Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ has to offer. I’ve witnessed first-hand his development as a scholar, an athlete, and as a person.
Cortez has showcased his many talents by presenting his research in exercise science at the national McNair Scholar’s conference and also was a member of the 2017 NCAA DIII National Championship baseball team! Cortez’s list of accolades is too long to to list here, but he deserves a big congratulations on his achievements thus far.
Although times may seem uncertain now, one thing is for sure — Cortez has a bright future ahead of him as he pursues a graduate degree in physical therapy! #CalLutheranCares
