"From Page to the Stage: The Process Performing Shakespeare"

FREE PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE INTENSIVE!

CALLING ALL STUDENTS: Learn through active workshops on Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ campus the process of putting together a Shakespeare performance using A Midsummer Night's Dream. Students will learn character work, scansion, stage speech, and get an opportunity to perform in front of their peers.

While meeting students from different local high schools, students will get to learn under CLU student directors, professors, and professional Shakespeare actors.

Local high school and community college theater students, teachers and their family members are invited to attend the CLU's Mainstage production of A Midsummer Night's Dream on our opening preview night and stay for a Talk Back with cast and crew afterwards. 

DISCLAIMER: This production contains themes of magical influence, forest shenanigans, references to romantic and same-sex relationships, as well as moments of suggestive humor. Audiences are invited to enjoy the humor, creativity, and timeless exploration of human relationships in the work of William Shakespeare. Viewer discretion is advised.

Together, Intertwined: CLU Dance Concert

Together, Intertwined: CLU Dance Concert will offer a dynamic evening of dance presented by the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Theatre and Dance Department, featuring original works choreographed and performed by students.

The concert will highlight the creativity, technical skill and artistic voices of emerging choreographers as they explore themes of connection, relationships and shared human experience through movement.

Admission is free, but reservations are recommended.
