This study investigates the development of two political pundit communities from November 2024 to February 2025 as the second Trump administration took form and started their work.  The research is based on data collected during a semester-long participant observation study of two YouTube channels that take a “liberal” viewpoint on politics. The findings reveal that the communities were bonded first by shock of their loss and fear of what would happen next, followed by profound frustration with the Democratic Party establishment. There were also minor rifts in the Republican party as well as they navigated senate confirmations. This study adds the existing scholarship that has previously been conducted to understand grassroot political movements and the results from this study can be used to assist the opposition party in better understanding what the American People want from their government and delivering better policy that will be helpful to the residents of the United States.  

This quantitative study investigates the impact of demographic factors on the usage and opinions towards AI by college students at a university. The research was conducted using a survey given to college students at a private undergraduate university and utilized convenience and snowball sampling for distribution and selection. We utilized a variety of research questions such as open-ended questions, likert-scales, and matrices to obtain data on both demographics and students usage patterns and opinions around AI. Our study looked at two hypotheses: “Freshmen will report higher rates of AI usage than seniors” and “Students who receive FAFSA are more concerned about the impact of AI on the job market.” These predictions were based on prior research that examined the connection between factors like socioeconomic status and age on AI usage and opinions. The data concluded the alternative hypothesis for both research questions, with seniors using AI more than freshmen and students who are not on FAFSA being more concerned about the job market.
 

This study examined patterns of artificial intelligence (AI) usage among undergraduate students at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, with a focus on demographic variables such as academic year and gender. As AI becomes increasingly added into school settings, research is limited but exists on how college students engage with these technologies as tools. A cross-sectional survey consisting of 32 questions was administered through qualtrics to 115 undergraduate students using convenience and snowball sampling. The survey measured overall AI usage, weekly frequent use, and demographic characteristics. The group hypothesis predicted that first year students would use AI more frequently than seniors, while my individual hypothesis predicted that male students would use AI more than female students. Descriptive and crosstabulations analysis revealed that AI usage was high among most students overall, but the patterns still contradicted the original hypothesis. The study highlights the importance of examining academic pressures, college policies, and student attitudes towards AI ethics when looking at the relationship between college and AI.

This study investigates the impact social media can have on postpartum mood disorders. The research is based on data collected during a semester-long participant observation study of  interactions between users on Reddit and interactions between users and influencers on TikTok. The findings reveal that there are three main areas in which social media affects: the pressure to “bounce back”, psychological recovery, and relationship recovery in relation to the negotiation of the division of labor. Social media can serve as a space for positive uplifting empowerment while also perpetuating unrealistic motherhood experiences. The duality of social media affects postpartum mood disorders in varying ways creating differing experiences among those in postpartum and those with postpartum mood disorders. This study expands on the existing scholarship that have previously been conducted to understand postpartum in relation to social media. Results from this study can be used to assist individuals in postpartum in better understanding the implication of  social media use and producing a healthier postpartum recovery journey.
