Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the fellowship, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Standing & Enrollment:
- General Requirement: All candidates must have at least one full academic year remaining in their program of study.
- GPA: Applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Undergraduate Students: Must be classified as a Sophomore or higher for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. (Please note: Incoming Freshmen are not eligible at this time).
- Graduate Students: The program is open to students currently enrolled in or entering a graduate program.
Community Engagement & Impact:
Candidates should demonstrate meaningful engagement in community service and programs
that fosters justice and equity and supports growth and empowerment for African American
and other communities of color.
