MS in Counseling (CSP) Requirements

The MS in Counseling (CSP) is open to students from all undergraduate majors who have graduated from a regionally accredited college or university.

Application Checklist

  • Online application
  • Advising appointment with a graduate enrollment specialist (strongly recommended)
  • Recommendation forms (2)

    • Ģý will send the required form to your two professional or academic recommenders. You can continue with your application without waiting for your recommenders to complete the form.
  • Official transcript(s) from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Personal statement
  • Application fee ($32)

Language Proficiency

International students are eligible to apply to the MS in Counseling (CSP) program. In addition to the requirements listed above, international students must submit:

  • Course by course evaluated transcripts by a NACES member company, official transcript, certified true copy in English
  • Financial Responsibility Statement or Official Bank Statement
  • Copy of Passport Information page
  • Minimum acceptable test scores are as follows (submit one):
    • TOEFL (88)
    • IELTS (6.5)
    • Duolingo (120)
    • Pearson’s (PTE Academic) (58)
    • Completion of ELS 112

Transcript Information

Official transcripts must be ordered and sent directly to Ģý via certified e-transcript or mail. E-transcripts are recommended where possible.
